Evo is seeking an AV Lead for our Beaverton Client at their Hillsboro location. As an AV Lead, you'll be an integral part of a team that is responsible for ensuring users have a great experience working with AV and presentation technologies throughout the facilities. You'll be assigned to manage a sub-campus at headquarters that may include 10-15 buildings and 200-300 conference rooms and other spaces with installed AV systems. You'll be expected to know the status of all AV systems on your campus and ensure that any that aren't operating effectively are recorded, reported, and fixed as quickly as possible.

You'll be responsible for seeking out key employees that support teams and conference rooms in your assigned buildings; building and maintaining relationships with them to ensure their teams' technical needs are met. You'll be the user liaison and first point-of-contact for all users' AV needs and direct them to appropriate partners when requests are outside of your scope. You'll also be responsible for training users on your campus to ensure adoption and maximal use of installed AV systems.

You'll monitor service technicians' work queues and ensure they have all needed knowledge to complete user requests for support as efficiently and effectively as possible. This will include in-person training as well as writing Knowledge Base Articles describing how to solve common problems and demonstrating and explaining how specific systems on your campus work. You'll serve as an escalation point for high-level requests, special needs meetings, and any issues that can't be addressed by other support staff. You'll analyze the situation and ensure needs are met and resolution.

As part of your role as lead for your campus, you'll coordinate installation of AV systems and components for stand-alone and single-room systems on your campus, partnering with vendors, facilities team, and end users to assess needs, choose an appropriate system from a standards list, gather quotes/estimates, and ensure timely project completion. You'll need a strong understanding of system components and design to communicate functions to end users and assess and suggest modifications as needed to ensure user needs are met. Additionally, when new construction or renovation projects are completed on your campus, you'll lead the commissioning and test-out of AV in the spaces and training of employees.

You'll provide regular reports of quantity and speed of support and install work performed on your campus and recommend process improvements based on your analysis. You'll also ensure accurate records of systems on your campus are maintained to enable you to assess and plan for systems that will need replacement at the end of their life-cycle.

You excel when working in a fast-paced, high-volume team-oriented environment. You demonstrate a high level of initiative, are a self-starter, problem solver, and are judicious in carrying out assignments with minimal supervision.

This contract opportunity is scheduled to be 1-year.

SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3 years' experience in Audio Visual industry
  • Strong team and customer service orientation
  • Strong technical writing skills to enable others to support standard equipment installations
  • Work in MS Excel and Outlook at intermediate-to-advanced levels
  • Easily learn new software applications and tools
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a varied workload
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter, eager to learn, results-oriented and creative thinker
